HR Generalist

The HR Generalist is responsible for managing the delivery of HR services for the company. The role is expected to focus on tasks concerning a) Employee Relations, Engagement and Communication, b) Employee Services and c) Labor Relations and Case Management

 

Specifically, the role is expected to deliver, but will not be limited to, the following responsibilities,

 

Employee Relations, Engagement and Communication
 

  • Develop, cascade HR policies and strategies aligned with the company's business objectives

 

  • Coordinate with other departments within the company in conducting surveys and general HR audits to ensure calibration on the interpretation of HR policies and procedural compliance

 

  • Provide recommendation to management on promoting and maintaining good employee relationship

 

  • Establish and maintain good relationships between employers and employees and assist in the resolution of specific disciplinary or grievance cases by acting as a mediator between the employee and line manager

 

Employee Services

 

  • Facilitate the New Hire Orientation sessions and provide administrative assistance throughout the rest of the employee on-boarding process
     

  • Maintain employee records or 201 files and track annual performance reviews, regularization and attrition data
     

  • Assist the payroll team by providing relevant and necessary data for processing pay and statutory benefits
     

  • Liaise with the Employee Programs (EP) Team in overseeing corporate events such as company outings, Christmas parties, general assemblies, theme days and other recreational activities to boost employee morale
     

  • Facilitate the exit and clearance process for the resigned, terminated and separated employees
     

Labor Relations and Case Management

 

  • Evaluate, enhance, and implement provisions of the company's Code of Conduct
     

  • Conducts investigation proceedings on violations of Code of Conduct
     

  • Represent the company in the National Labor Relations Commission and other government agencies
     

  • If necessary, secure documents issued by judicial offices regarding cases filed before them; draft and finalize affidavits

 

Requirements
 

  • Candidate must have at least 2 years of solid work experience in human resource management functions specifically in Industrial/Labor Relations, Employee Relations and Employee Services.

  • Candidate must display deep knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Candidate is expected to be able to demonstrate initiative, good judgment, impartiality, confidentiality and assertiveness.

  • Candidate must display willingness to work long hours, shifting schedules, and occasional Saturday shift.

  • Ability to interact effectively with co-associates in all levels of the organization, with very good counseling, facilitation, and presentation skills.

  • Must be a graduate of Human Resource degree, relative or equivalent.
