Accounting and Administrative Officer

The Accounting and Administrative Officer is responsible for delivering accounting and administrative support. Specifically, the tasks breaks down to the following,

 

  • Perform general accounting functions such as, but is not limited to, payable and receivable, general ledger, statutory and tax reporting, account reconciliation and preparation of financial statements

  • Perform administrative functions such as, but is not limited to, timekeeping, supplier negotiations and office and records management

Requirements

 

  • At least 3 years of experience performing similar responsibilities

  • Knowledge and experience in bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements (BS, IS, Cash Flows) and related schedules 

  • Knowledge and experience in filing withholding and other taxes and preparation of tax returns (withholding taxes, DST, income taxes and VAT) 

  • Knowledge and experience in payroll computation and preparation and filing of statutory reports (SSS, PHIC, HDMF) 

  • Knowledge in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger processes and controls, including maintenance of subsidiary ledgers 

  • Knowledge and experience in performing administrative task (timekeeping, records management, supplier negotiations) 

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications 

  • Keen to details and analytical 

  • Perform functions for Facilities, DOLE reporting, Payroll and minimal HR work
